I’m not sure what the official name of this delectable dessert is, but it’s basically blueberry pie with apple pie filling baked into the crust.  Just one bite of this will leave no doubt in your mind that Maine is the place to go for blueberries.

I love lobsters and I love pot pie, so it’s no surprise that a culinary genius decided to combine the two.  Oftentimes when a dish claims to have lobster, pieces are teeny tiny and rare.  I’m happy to report that the chefs behind the lobster pot pie at The Kennebunk Inn broke out of that terrible terrible mold.  It’s BUTTERY and when I say buttery, I mean I would bet money that there was 1 stick of butter in this dish.  Definitely worth the trip if you are in town.

The Chef fills a modified marshmallow recipe that can be frozen with a delicious vanilla ice cream covered with chocolate feuilletine. In lieu of a cone, the Frozen S’more is then served on a willow branch that has been smoked with apple wood to give off the fragrance of campfires.
I don’t even think I truly appreciated marshmallows until I had the homemade marshmallow from City Bakery.  The freshly toasted marshmallow on this S’More is ridiculous.  You can smell the campfire.  Brings me back to the luxurious days of camplife that never existed.  It’s rich and indulgent.  I would’ve been just as happy if it were half the size.  
Verdict: the frozen s’more is better than the cronut, but the DKA still wins.
